ROLE OF THE OFFICE: Take charge of the Public Affairs Office for the effective projecting of the image of the council and promoting the image of the council at all levels.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervises the Information Unit
  • Advises the Local Government on matters relating to information dissemination.
  • Issues Press Releases on the directives of the Chairman.
  • Coordinates collection, collation and release of information on behalf of Local Government/Local Council Development Area
  • Assessment of the impact of Government’s programme and projects on populace and create feedback mechanism.
