Mrs. Olorunsola Christiana Olajumoke

Mrs. Olorunsola Christiana Olajumoke is an Assistant Director and was first appointed on October 24, 1994. She holds Higher National Diploma in Environmental Health, Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Health and Master’s Degree in Environmental Health Management.

Before her appointment as the Head of Environmental Services Department in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA in 2016, she has served at Ikorodu LG (1994-1996), Lagos Island LG (1996-2004), Lagos Island East LCDA (2004-2008), Mushin LG (2008-2013), Epe LG (2013-2015), Eredo LCDA (2015-2016).

Her department is responsible for promoting sound healthcare services delivery, preventing diseases and prolonging life.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Heads the Department of Environmental Services, formulate and evaluate policies relating to Environment matters.
  • Develop regulations and standards on all environmental issues.
  • Inspection of Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Food premises, including Primary School Vocational Institutions.
  • Coordination/Maintenance of Public Toilets.
  • Registration of private sewage dislodges and control of sewage collection and disposal.
  • Beautification/landscaping of street/open spaces and environmental conservation within the Local Government.
  • Liaison with State and Federal Agencies such as LASEPA, Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK) and other relevant Agencies on any environmental related matters.
