Education and Library Services

Mrs. Atimiwoaiye Oriyomi Ibidunni is a Chief Education Officer with a Bachelor of Education Degree.

She was first appointed on January 1, 1986 and she has served at Lagos Mainland LG (1997-2002), Ikeja LG (2002-2005) and Kosofe LG (2007-2010). She was appointed Head of Education and Library Services in 2016.

Her office is responsible for:

• Improving Education standard within the L.C.D.A
• Bringing Education closer to the less privileged within the locality.
• Facilitating learning among the Adult who are unable to go to school.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervises the Department of Education and Library Services.
• In charge of day-to-day running of the Department
• Supervision of the activities of all units in the Department.
• Serves as the Chief Adviser on policy initiation and execution of all issues bordering on Education and Library Services in the Local Government.
• Ensures that activities of Education and Library Services as laid down in the development plan are complied with.
