Mrs. Oshodi Kafilat Iyabode HOD Agriculture, Social & Rural Development

Mrs. Iyabo Kafilat Oshodi is designated a Deputy Director in the service and was first appointed in January 1996. She holds Bachelor of Science Degree in Bio-Chemistry and Master’s Degree in Bio-Chemistry.

She has served Lagos Island Local Government (1996-2001), Ikeja Local Government (2001-2002), Onigbogbo LCDA (2002-2004), Yaba LCDA (2004-2007) and Apapa Local Government (2007-2016).

She was appointed the Head of Agriculture and Social-Service Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area in 2016.

Her office is responsible og making Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA a sustainable food home and to provide all-inclusive portable social services to the community.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervises the Department of Agriculture and Social Services
  • Serves as the Chief Adviser to the Local Government on policy initiation and execution of all Agriculture, Rural and Social Development activities in the Local Government.
  • Ensure that activities of Agriculture and Social Development as laid down in the development plan are complied with by the Local Government.
  • Coordination of all stakeholders in the Agricultural sector.
