Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA Disburses N10 Million Relief Fund to Residents

 

In a bid to alleviate the economic burden faced by residents, the Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has disbursed a total of 10 million Naira to no fewer than 500 indigenes and residents. Spearheaded by the Executive Chairman, Builder Olusesan Daini, the program, tagged the “Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA Relief Fund,” aims to provide much-needed financial assistance to those affected by the prevailing economic challenges.

The beneficiaries, carefully selected by a local organizing committee and stakeholders within the community, each received 20,000 Naira to help mitigate the impact of economic hardships. The disbursement event, held today, saw individuals and families from various walks of life receiving the financial support they urgently needed.

In his remarks, Chairman Olusesan Daini emphasized the commitment of the LCDA to fulfill promises made to the people. He highlighted the importance of providing subsidy support during these trying economic times, reaffirming the LCDA’s dedication to the welfare of its residents. Furthermore, Daini announced plans for another 10 million Naira to be disbursed to additional individuals and businesses across the area, with personal oversight from himself.

Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basoruni, a member of the Governance Advisory Council, expressed gratitude to Chairman Daini for his consistent delivery and efforts in driving economic growth within the LCDA. 

The relief fund distribution underscores the LCDA’s proactive approach to addressing the needs of its populace, particularly in times of economic uncertainty. By providing direct financial assistance to residents, the initiative seeks to alleviate financial strain and promote resilience within the community.
